You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the store. You will be responsible for supervising and guiding a team of employees, managing inventory, monitoring sales performance and providing exceptional customer service. Your strong leadership skills, attention to details, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our store.
This position is going to be based at our retail stores islandwide.
Scope of Work:
- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the stores, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere
- Assist to style customers in our latest pieces and provide recommendations based on their needs
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our product range
- Process sales transaction with a high level of accuracy
- Assist with after sales service such as returns or exchanges
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with Operations Team to replenish stocks when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organised sales floor, including restocking merchandise, tidying shelves, and arranging displays
- Process online order collections when required
- Encourage customer loyalty by delivering outstanding service and building strong relationships with them
- Supervise, train and motivate a team of store employees, ensuring a positive work environment
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback and performance evaluations to team members to enhance their productivity and development
- Plan and manage team schedule to ensure adequate staffing levels to meet operational needs
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and satisfactory manner
- Monitor sales performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) of team members to identify areas for improvement
- Assist in implementing strategies to drive sales, increase revenue and meet or exceed sales target
- Process staff purchase when required
- Support any duties or responsibilities assigned
Requirements:
- Preferably Nitec, Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Retail Management or a relevant field
- At least 5 years of retail experience with 3 years of supervisory experience
- Possess Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with cross functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to analyse sales data, identify trends and develop strategies to drive performance
- Flexibility to travel between store locations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
- Display exceptional multitasking abilities, managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Take initiative, showing resourcefulness and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
- Show meticulous attention to detail and follow-through on projects
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Have a can-do attitude and is a problem solver
