Roles & Responsibilities
· Engage with HR Partners, Managers, Head of Functions, People Team and Regional People Leaders on matters related to C&B proactively
- Review the total C&B structure including total cash component, reward strategies and sales incentive projects, to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity
- Prescribe and implement C&B guidelines on how to attract, reward and retain employees, while ensuring alignment with the Company’s business objectives
· Recommend industry best practices with an aim to attract and retain talent, ensuring smooth effective implementation
· Execute C&B initiatives and support the Head of People in the engagement with the business units
· Conduct regular review of compensation structure including participation of C&B and job benchmarking surveys by Mercer, SNEF and other consultancy companies
· Drive impactful communication to key stakeholders to obtain buy-in and seamless execution
- Manage the job analysis and job evaluation process for all employees
- Engage key stakeholders in discussions including salary proposals, evaluation assessments, annual merit increment and promotion cycles
- Review GPMS evaluation results for business units and drive the calibration process to ensure overall equity in accordance to the regional performance policy guidelines
- Drive Samsung’s bi-annual Management Business Objectives Incentive process as well as Sales Incentive Programme, including participation in the KPI setting process
- Assist to prepare the annual manpower budget
- Adopt agile, flexible, meaningful and cost effective C&B initiatives
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resource Management or other relevant disciplines
- Minimum 7 years of C&B Experience
- Numerically-inclined with a keen analytical ability
- Proficient in Singapore Employment Act and other MOM and TAFEP guidelines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High degree of initiative
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and navigate through ambiguity
- Ability to multi-task and respond to rapid changes in a fast moving dynamic business environment
- Well versed with current market trends in order to provide additional perspectives for C&B improvements
