Position: Retail Manager
Job Scope and Responsibilities:
Team Management:
- Supervise and motivate retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Recruit, train, and schedule employees effectively to ensure adequate staffing levels and coverage.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for staff development.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

- Train staff on effective customer service techniques and empower them to resolve customer issues independently.
- Implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, such as loyalty programs or special promotions.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory control processes, including stock replenishment, ordering, and stocktaking.
- Monitor inventory levels and product turnover, minimizing stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize inventory assortment and allocation.
- Ensure compliance with inventory management procedures and policies, including loss prevention measures.
Operational Efficiency:
- Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security protocols.
- Implement efficient workflow processes to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Monitor and control expenses, such as payroll and overhead, to meet budgetary targets.
- Collaborate with other departments or stakeholders to coordinate promotional events, marketing campaigns, or product launches.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment for employees and customers, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any safety or compliance issues promptly.
- Provide training and resources to staff regarding safety procedures and protocols.
