Job Description:
- Develop and maintain accounting policies for group companies in the Asia Pacific (AP) region.
- Create and update guidelines for tax audits in the AP region.
- Summarize and stay updated on company law, tax law, and other relevant regulations for financial and tax accounting in the AP region.
- Prepare closing reports and business plan reports for submission to the Managing Director.
- Develop the annual budget for the Singapore office.
- Coordinate and organize business trips and meetings for the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and managers.
- Assist the CFO with various tasks and activities.
- Arrange logistics for board meetings, including scheduling, transportation, accommodation, and meals.
- Gather and consolidate meeting materials for presentation during board meetings.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting, tax accounting, or finance.
- Familiarity with cross-border taxation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Eagerness to learn financial accounting and tax accounting.
- Strong team player with a sense of responsibility.
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is advantageous.
- Previous experience in accounting firms is a bonus.
