Roles & Responsibilities
Your day-to-day will involve:
Research
- Bring together rubber and commodities data from across the different regions into coherent global narratives.
- Understanding of current global trade policies and supply, demand trade flows and their role in commodity markets.
- Works closely with other individuals and teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information and publications to clients.
- Prepares written correspondence and presentation of analysis.
Data & Analytics
- Ability to work with numbers and spreadsheets and produce analytical editorial copy, grasping complex issues.
- Conducts research including identifying new data sources and statistical analysis of results
- Work with various types data sets and solve problems by applying advanced analytical methods or develop machine learning models as needed
- Develop data analysis/machine learning solutions to support actionable insights and deliver data-driven machine learning solutions to support automated decision making
Some things we consider critical for this role:
- Familiarity with Excel, Python/Matlab, Web scraping
- Resourceful, persistent and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Nice to Haves:
- SQL/Database management experience
