Operations Executive - Hougang

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays to Fridays: 9:30am to 6:30pm, inclusive of 0.5 hr lunch break
• Service may be required on Saturdays if there is a Reflections Theatre Booking.
• Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:-

1. Reports directly to Operations Manager or SH / Arts Education
2. Oversees daily operations & maintenance of Creative Arts Complex (CAC) restricted to Reflections Theatre (RT) (including dressing room), CCA rooms, VVIP room.
3. Primarily in charge of scheduled repair and maintenance of CAC specialised equipment including sound & lighting system, cherry picker, CAC retractable seats and AV accessories within RTs (including dressing room), CCA room, and VVIP room.
4. Provide smooth support to all activities and events (performance and non-performance base) in the Reflections Theatre
5. Secondary role in providing checks and feedback as a Facilities Manager including Indoor Sports Hall “The Arena” and “The Cage” (during non-performance blocks)
6. To support and coordinate marketing and booking of Reflections Theatre together with Subject Head / Arts Education
7. To provide support to our school hall as secondary role and when the need arises.

On non-performance blocks, Operations Executive (OE) is required to provide secondary support to provide at least weekly or bi-weekly (timely) fault reporting for Operations Manager on activation of maintenance works.

The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Possessing at least a GCE ‘O’ Level certificate, or an ITE certificate in related areas or a pass Diploma in Building Services, Arts & Theatre Management or other related areas
• Experience, knowledge and skills with PA sound systems and stage lighting/DMX systems preferred
• Willing to learn and able to work with others
• Able to start work with effect from 20th May 2024
• Willing to accommodate non-regular working hours when there are events booking at the CAC (particularly at the Reflections Theatre)
