About the role:
We are looking for an energetic, determined Business Development Manager who not only understands what it takes to drive great relationships but wants to have a significant impact on our company and our clients! The Business Development Manager is responsible for acquiring new clients within the Singapore market and will report to the Singapore Country Manager Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Generate sales forecast on Quarterly basis based on individual Sales Target of Revenue and GMV as well as develop sales strategies & plans. Keep update of Target with Management on weekly basis in order to be on track
- Develop plans to acquire new business through direct sales techniques with client
- Conduct daily research to identify new prospect across nationwide as to build continuous pipeline either through cold calling, market canvassing, referral from network
- Conduct daily cold call activities to engage interested clients for business meeting
- Identify key people in the industry that influence client buying decisions (consultants and technology partners) and work with them to generate leads and opportunities
- Effectively communicate the value proposition, company vision, product, and service capabilities to target clients.
- Manage end-to-end client relationships, including pitching, negotiation, contracting, billing/ invoicing, and payment collection and result tracking
- Attend trade shows and product launches as required.
- Update daily sales activities in TabSquare’s CRM database.
Requirements:
- A pure hunter roll position with great passion, enthusiasm, discipline and well time management criteria needed.
- Minimum 4 plus years of experience in Business Development and selling IT software solutions.
- Understanding of restaurant operations / pain points, opportunities and the entire ecosystem of F&B industry etc.industry, CRM, Inventory, Analytics software
- Strong connections with direct brands specifically within the F&B industry
- Proven track record of driving sales and achieving personal target
- Possess resilience and “Can Do” attitude in facing sales challenges and work differently with “Out of the box” mindset
- Able to work independently and seek support whenever necessary
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills in strong verbal & written communication skills in English and Mandarin language(Added advantage)
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability: synthesize findings from analysis and draw conclusions
- Willing to work for more in order to achieve own self and team target
- Willing to travel outstation when needed for customer prospecting
- Good knowledge of MS Office with advanced skills in Excel & Powerpoint
