Accountant Position
We are seeking trustworthy candidates who work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy. Accountants can expect to work with large amounts of numerical data, handle multiple tasks with deadlines, and provide transparent and complete reports to management. You should have a firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations and possess strong computer and verbal and written communication skills.
The incumbent will be fully responsible for the management of the company’s accounts and human resource function from start to finish and must be proactive, diligent and able to work with minimal supervision.
Accountant Responsibilities:
- Perform full set accounts including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet schedules, reconciliation of accounts, financial statements and reporting packages.
- Providing monthly performance/variance analysis.
- Handle statutory reporting (Corporate Tax/GST/ Audit).
- Complying with all company, local accounting and financial regulations.
- Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
- Maintain accounting documents and records to ensure they are properly filed and documented.
- Any other ad-hoc matters as requested.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Chartered accountant preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
- Ethical behaviour.
- Attention to detail.
- At least 5 or more years of experience maintaining full sets of accounts.
