The PDS APAC Marketing Director exhibits an understanding of markets and buyers to develop regional and geo-specific go-to-market strategies, as well support global marketing strategies with a focus on the Project and Development Services (PDS) group. She/he must work cross-functionally, coordinating efforts with different teams (e.g. Product Management, Marketing Enablement, Content, Field marketing, Market Intelligence, Sales, and Sales Enablement). The individual must develop an expert understanding of the buying audiences and their needs as it relates to the products he or she is tasked with launching. The holder of this position must also familiarize himself/herself with each product’s competitive landscape (both established and emerging). This position also requires dedication to fuelling the other marketing functions with subject matter expertise related to designated products – together with their Product Management colleagues. This role will report to the Head of Work Dynamics Marketing APAC, and will involve coordination with global colleagues across the Americas and EMEA.
- Development, execution, and optimization of PDS campaigns (regional/global), sharing learnings/best practice with Geos and aligning with marketing, sales, and product to ensure awareness and demand generation campaigns/programs reflect current PDS business priorities, messaging strategies, and goals.
- Channel management and content creation including, but not limited to, content production for relevant PDS regional/local campaign assets. Market/customer research to gather data and insight about target personas, buyer needs and the purchasing decision process for relevant PDS offerings.
- Strategic partner to regional/geo PDS/WD business Executives and subject matter experts to develop marketing programs/content that improves margin and drives fee revenue.
- Collaboration with Sales Enablement to produce PDS sales enablement deliverables (i.e.: Sales readiness toolkits, service/product slides, how to sell sheets, FAQ’s, training, etc.)
- Strategic oversight of APAC/Geo PDS business/sales plans for client/industry engagement, to include company hosted events, client hospitality, industry sponsorships/partnerships and speaking opportunities, and research programs. Ensure alignment with strategy, business development and budget adherence. Collaboration with relevant WD Heads of Business Line Marketing, Geo Marketing teams, Marketing Centers of Excellence, Sales, Product owners, and subject matter experts to design and deliver the PDS APAC Marketing strategy to drive sales.
The successful candidate will act as a strategic partner collaborating closely with regional/local PDS & WD business executives and subject matter experts to develop marketing programs that improve margin and drive fee revenue.
This individual will also work closely with Sales and Marketing colleagues globally and in APAC markets across Marketing disciplines such as brand, communications, digital, and research.
Stakeholder Engagement
The role will work closely with the APAC PDS Leadership, APAC Work Dynamics Head of Marketing, Global PDS Marketing & Communications Leads, JLL Marketing Centers of Excellence, Sales, Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts to design and deliver the PDS Marketing strategy to drive sales.
Regional Activities
The role will be responsible for the co-ordination with country marketing and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective delivery of PDS marketing campaigns and programs. It will also link up with the Global product marketing organization and Global Marketing colleagues to ensure tight alignment, brand consistency and effective implementation.
Skills
- 8+ years strategy and/or product marketing experience with a record of increasing responsibility in a consulting firm, communication agency or B2B company
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences. Establish and maintain strong relationships on all levels of organization
