Job Objectives
Services Business Development & Analyst mission in the Business Development team (ASAM) is to support Airbus Customer Services business lines by:
- Expanding Airbus Commercial Services (ACS) revenue and profit streams for its products and services through providing global business critical insights using analytics and local/global trends to help drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward within Asia Pacific.
- Leveraging worldwide market awareness and perform market studies to support ACS
- Maximize business synergies in ACS through close coordination with other Airbus divisions.
- Support and lead the business development activities in the APAC region
Job Responsibilities
Performing Analyst
- Provide global and regional critical business insights including innovations to support S strategies.
- Lead, structure, conduct and provide deep analysis of specific topics (market dynamics) in coordination with all relevant Airbus customer facing stakeholders (e.g Flight Operations Support Directors, Global Account Managers, etc.) in order to support S and business lines in making appropriate recommendations to S leadership.
- Actively monitor, assess and recommend suitable strategic business initiatives, partnership opportunities and tailored business model/business case under the guidance of the business development team to the S leadership in line with global strategy.
- Support with relevant data points required for management presentations such as business case, strategic white paper, M&A Gate 1, etc, in coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Provide timely business trends and intelligence to relevant stakeholders based on customer and business network
Performing Project Management Activities
- Planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion.
- Developing detailed market studies & project plans, ensuring resource availability & allocation and delivering every project on time within budget and scope.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Establish, maintain & manage relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Performing Business Development Activities
Identify strategic business development initiatives aiming at the expansion of Airbus Commercial Services revenue & profit streams (product and services) worldwide. This includes identification, assessment and implementation (when relevant) of partnerships opportunities, acquisitions, new affiliates creations and other types of investments by:
- Evaluating the customer/partner service needs and/or cooperation strategic rationale.
- Shaping the business model, transaction structure, and governance, with the support of, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Tax and Merger & Acquisition (M&A) team, as applicable.
- Be a key member of the investment decision-making process D. Support in business negotiations and coordination of the overall project until complete implementation
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in related fields or an MBA
- Relevant experience of 3-5 years in aviation preferred
