Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Job Responsibilities
- Perform Electrical Engineering design for Offshore Oil & Gas facilities such as FPSOs, platforms etc
- Responsible for study, design, specifications and services related to MV (11kV)/LV(690/400v) Switchgear, MV VFDs, distribution system etc
- Have detail design experiences on FPSO/Offshore facilities MV (11kV) and LV (690/400V) system/ancillaries including transformers etc
- Have Handled Electrical packages such as UPS, Distribution Boards or supported Mechanical packages reviewing engineering documents
- Have database Engineering experience, developing load list, cable schedule, control schematic, etc.
- Perform Technical Bid valuation for basic Electrical packages
- Utilise database Engineering i.e. SmartPlant/SPEL to produce Load List, Cable Schedule, etc.
- Able to work independantly and also together with a team of specialised Electrical Engineers/Designers for the complete detail design
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 6 years' of relevant experience with Electrical design involving Offshore Electrical power and distribution system.
- Familiarity with global Electrical codes, standards and regulations i.e. IEC/BSI, etc.
- Knowledge of Electrical system for assessment/compliance studies and reports
- Understanding of Electrical system design
