About the role: We are seeking a highly experienced Software & Apps Agile Coach to join our Global Transformation Company. As the Agile Coach, you will play a critical role in overseeing the software development and application teams, ensuring that Agile practices and principles are effectively implemented and followed. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and enhance the efficiency of software and application development processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Coach and mentor software development and application teams in Agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Establish and enforce Agile frameworks, such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean, to ensure efficient project execution and delivery.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Provide guidance and support in resolving issues, removing impediments, and ensuring smooth collaboration between teams.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement by fostering a mindset of transparency, accountability, and adaptability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria, aligning development efforts with organizational goals.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, agile metrics and utilize them to drive data-driven decision making.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master within a software development environment.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or Lean.
  • Proficient in Agile tools and software, such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and team motivation.
  • In-depth knowledge of software and application development lifecycle and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve bottlenecks and impediments.
