As a Software & Apps Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications used in healthcare facilities. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Perform both manual and automated testing to identify and report defects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Conduct regression testing to identify potential issues and ensure the stability of software applications.
- Analyse test results, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software testing process, methodologies, and tools.
- Document test procedures, results, and findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings to provide insights and recommendations for enhancing software quality.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software testing, ideally in the Hospital & Health Care industry.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, practices, and tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Java.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Appium.
- Familiarity with healthcare software standards and regulations (e.g., HL7, HIPAA) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
