Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Budgeting and Implementation Review: Oversee project budgeting processes and review project implementation to ensure adherence to financial guidelines and goals.
  • Treasury Management: Manage cash reserves, both short and long term, to optimize returns while provide for liquidity and support operational needs.
  • Project Financing: Assist in prospecting, reviewing and procuring project financing to support company initiatives
  • Relationship building with financial institutions: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions to ensure robust support for smooth cash transaction flow.
  • Financial and procurement approval system development: Development and implement financial and procurement approval systems and policies to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Tax planning and advisory: Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services, focusing on withholding tax, direct taxes and transfer pricing to minimise tax exposure.
  • Capex management: manage capital expenditure activities to ensure optimal allocation of resources and alignment with company objectives.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee financial processes for all companies within the Group, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Government Grants & subsidies: Recommend and support the application and securing of government grants, subsidies, and schemes to leverage available financial opportunities.
  • Finance Business Partner: Act as a strategic finance business partner, collaborating with various departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices, including tax planning and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
