Responsibilities:
- Configuration and troubleshooting with server/storage protocols.
- Capacity planning, VM migration, recovery, and report generation for the Oracle Linux.
- Managing and monitoring Servers the lifecycle management of the Servers.
- Troubleshooting, problem solving focused with ability to work on your own as well as with a team.
- manage multiple, often competing, priorities and tasks and follow through to completion on strict deadlines. Hands on experience with end user applications-translating capacity requirements into infrastructure deployment technology.
- Effectively communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users, including non-technical users
.
Requirement:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems
- Minimum 5 years of experience on server/storage design and implementation.
- Experience with Oracle Linux Virtualization.
- Experience in Redhat OpenShift will be an added advantage.
- Experience in PowerEdge Servers
- Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts/shell scripting will be an added advantage
- Hands-on experience with storage switches and routers is preferred.
