JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and ensure functionality of the QA&QC Department
- Setup HACCP and ISO 22000 requirements for production plant
- Handle regulatory and customer Audits
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and Food Safety Management Systems
- Ensure products meet internal / external specifications
- Monitor incoming, in-process and outgoing inspection activities
- Handle customer feedback pertaining to quality and food safety issues
- Ensure adherence to Quality and Food Safety Management Programmes
- Handle and decide on disposition of non-conforming products
- Manage, motivate, coach and develop the Food Safety and QA&QC teams
- Any ad-hoc work as prescribed by the superior.
- Reporting to Deputy General Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, food manufacturing or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experiences;
- Prior QA/QC experience in food manufacturing will be added advantage;
- Good Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (HACCP, BRC, ISO 22000)
- Good Communication, Organizational and Analytical Skills
- Meticulous, good judgement and decision-making skills.
