Communications Officer/Manager
- 6 months contract, with an option extend or convert into permanent

The Opportunity
This role works closely with client stakeholders at all levels to understand business needs, goals and objectives for key situations, initiatives and programs and recommends, develops and implements complex communication solutions, approaches and tactics to most effectively reach target internal and/or external audiences and achieve desired outcomes.
- Create, implement, and oversee communications programs
- Develops cross-channel content (brochures, letters, web articles, video, social content, games, quizzes, signage, etc.) to support client-facing projects.
- Applies benchmarking data and performance metrics to continuous improvement of communication efforts.
- Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or project for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Leads and/or participates in efforts to define metrics and measurement for communication programs and tactics.
- Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
- Develops complex communication plans and activities are aligned across key internal and external stakeholder groups through ongoing collaboration with business-line communicators and project leads.
- Provides subject matter expertise and tactical communication counsel and support to project teams and other internal stakeholders (such as Graphic Design, Editorial, Brand, Video Production, Digital, etc.).
- Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Your Background
- 4 Year/bachelor’s degree (Degree in English or Communication preferred) or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelors)
- 5-8 years’ communication experience leading communication programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, including the ability to interact with general partners and other leaders of the firm
- Demonstrates initiative and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates organization and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated experience in virtual communication methods
- Drives performance targets to completion
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) skills
