JOB DESCRIPTION
Position:
Executive Director
Responsibilities:
- This is a senior management role at the Group’s level.
- This role is in charge of creating, driving and implementing the Group’s new business units in the areas of technology-enabled lifestyle platform, including multi-channel networks, e-sports, live streaming and others.
- Work with the management in the planning, budgeting and execution of the respective business models and business plans of the new business units.
- Establish the new business units’ respective go-to-market strategies, financial metrics, KPIs, timelines, growth targets, expansion plans, procedures, goals and policies.
- Build, manage and supervise new business units’ leaders and employees to ensure that the procedures, goals and policies are robustly established.
- Perform day-to-day managerial role in ensuring that the new business units are functioning properly and are carrying out their operations diligently, as well as monitoring that their KPIs and OKRs are met.
- Analyse and track performance indicators, financial results and reports.
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations and the Company’s policies.
- Participate in business development initiatives at Company’s level such as investments, fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic alliances.
- Represent the Company at internal and external events.
- Reporting to the Board at regular intervals or when required by the Board on the above matters.
Qualifications & Skills:
- At least 15 years of working experience in the businesses of either multi-channel networks, e-sports, live streaming and emerging technology-enabled lifestyle businesses, with demonstratable results and achievements.
- Competent in planning, executing and establishing new businesses in at least one of these areas emerging technology-based life-style platform: multi-channel network, e-sport and/or live stream.
- Strong hands-on operations and business acumen in the areas of new businesses.
- Excels at relationship building and has exceptional leadership skills.
- Build teams that are highly motivated and skilful in driving robust execution of go-to-market strategies that deliver solid growth.
- Implements actionable plans to achieve KPIs and OKRs.
- Learns quickly and has strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Communicates effectively and has excellent public speaking skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s in business, economics, finance, accounting, marketing, entrepreneurship, or a similar major is required.
- Master’s in business, electronic or computer science is strongly preferred.
- Prior executive-level experience of at least 10 years in operations roles are required.
