Responsibilities
- Support in coordinating senior-related activities (e.g. educational talks, stretch band exercises, bento/grocery packing & distribution) and meetings organised by or hosted at the Centre, collaborating with volunteers, trainers, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Prioritize the safety and well-being of both seniors and volunteers within the Centre, implementing appropriate safety measures and protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of attendees for all activities, ensuring attendance is properly documented and tracked.
- Keep detailed records of all items entering and leaving the Centre, maintaining an organized inventory to ensure efficient management of resources.
- Take responsibility for the accountability and maintenance of all equipment and assets within the Centre, ensuring they are in good working condition and readily available when needed.
- Maintain basic cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene of the Centre, ensuring a safe and comfortable space for seniors and volunteers.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirements
- A passion to work for a non-profit organisation.
- Eloquent with communication skills and enjoys interacting with people from all walks of life.
- Resourceful and well-versed in Microsoft Office, organised and detailed oriented.
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in supporting/organizing events and/or working with seniors and volunteers would be advantageous.
