Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
· Design and oversee electrical systems for port equipment projects.
· Review project specifications and requirements.
· Conduct port equipment visits and inspections to assess electrical equipment needs and feasibility.
· Assist with the commissioning of new eqipment into service. Ensure that equipment is operating according to specifications.
. Obtain commissioning plans to integrate and verify Drive, PLC and control system for Siemens, Yaskawa, and Fuji and in accordance with compliance matrices.
. To know how to read and modify PLC logistic to commissioning port equipment
. Obtain and adhere to testing and commissioning for container handling equipment.
· Provide technical support and guidance to carry out the job according to the work procedure.
· Perform calculations and analysis to determine electrical load requirements.
· Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
· Conduct safety inspections requirements, environmental requirements and enterprise procedures are identified and monitored throughout the work procedure and implement corrective measures as needed.
· Implementation of tasks assigned by Project Manager and coordinates communicating project status and success metrics.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering with more than 3 years or more than 5 years’ experience in preferably in building consultancy.
· Proficient in CAD software and other electrical design tools.
· Repair and maintenance on industrial equipment.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment and able to work at elevated heights.
