Job Description & Requirements
We are looking for a passionate and driven Assistant Chef/ Cook to join us. You will perform a variety of food preparation duties and ensure our menu products are cooked according to recipes and served in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
Job Description
- Prepare, cook and plate food according to SOP
- Maintain consistency of food quality and safety
- Responsible for reviewing kitchen inventory and estimating what foods are needed
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation and the kitchen
- Store food items in a safe and orderly manner
- Wok-frying experience preferred but not compulsory. Training will be provided
Requirements
- Passion for culinary
- Experience in cooking
- Preferably with wok-fry experience
- Able to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays
- Able to work 12-hours shifts (10 working hours and 2 hours break)
- A physically fit team player to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to accept other tasks as assigned, eg dishwashing
