- The Architect/Design Architect plans, designs and leads the construction
- He/She helps prepare project details and drawings for the clients.
- He/She takes into account the needs of clients, purposes of construction and the clients’ budgets.
- He/She advises the clients on project execution and oversees the quality and progress of work done. This includes arranging contracts between clients and builders.
- He/She also visits construction sites to ensure work is properly done.
- He/She discusses any problems with clients and stakeholders.
- He/She keeps in contact with people from various departments and private companies.
- He/She acts on behalf of the clients to contact other parties involved in the project.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of architectural experience or similar
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field
- Excellent technical drawing skills
- Proficient in MS Office and programs such as AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent creative and visualization skills
- Attention to detail
