Supply Chain Inventory Planner / Assistant Manager (6 month contract)

Responsibilities:


Distribution

  • Perform daily the Replenishment & Allocation from WW WH and from local WH to stores. For SAP, we repeat the process for all countries
  • Monitor constantly Store Capacity vs Stock on hand. Actively collecting data from stores and keeping updated the capacity data for all SAP stores.
  • Check the Target stock level vs OH for all SKUs and all stores constantly, to make sure that TSL is in line with latest sales performances.
  • Define allocation strategies in order to always ensure optimized inventory in store, changing the weeks of coverage and the depth of each SKU, accordingly to events/renovations/changes happening in store.
  • Secure correct level of Inventory for new store opening, renovations, pop-up stores etc. to avoid stock out situation and secure sufficient coverage for best-sellers.

Management & Allocation of Client Requests:

  • Ensure the best service level to our top clients, source and allocate the right product in the least time possible
  • Update the Client Request file after every allocation, informing the stores about status & ETA of every request
  • Occasional Manual allocation to fulfil urgent client requests received from stores.

Provide Inventory Visibility to Retail, Merchandising & VM Team:

  • Support Merchandising team in keeping a "right sized" assortment. To quickly identify the "low performing" styles, and the changes to be made to the current assortment to optimize the inventory.
  • Store Visits: Get feedback from stores on stock level and evaluate potential TSL adjustments when needed.
  • Give stock visibility to stores (give suggestions on what to push/highlight high & low stock situations/stock shortage & alternatives/deliveries)
  • Share regularly the assortment with the stores, with information on what will be carried forward into the next season/which styles to keep last display piece of, etc.

Consolidation / Rebalancing of Stock:

  • Stock Consolidation between Stores (STS)

- For ALL Departments: once a month - For BEST SELLERS top 20 styles across departments: twice a month

  • Stock Rebalancing across SEAP Countries (from WH to WH - ICT)

- For ALL Departments: twice a month

- For all the above we need to come up with a proposal, send instructions to the stores and create ICT (paperwork) to transfer stock between countries.

- Facilitate and streamline the processes to exchange stock between countries (ICTs). Work closely with Kering Logistics on every step.


Update Demand & Planning Team on Events and Trends:

  • Consolidate feedback at line and department level from sales performance and provide data to the demand and planning team (including buyers’ feedback on the sales forecast)
  • Create and update a calendar every season for the WW team on Special Events/store opening/sales trends/holidays sales peak.

Adhoc Activities:

  • Work with the VM & Merchandising team on special events such as Openings/ Refurbishments/Special launches, to ensure correct level of inventory in store.
  • Strategic projects to address country specific issues (e.g., Singapore overstock)
  • Special Projects to improve communication between Retail and Merchandising
  • Presentations and Analysis for Senior Management

Requirements:


Functional

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain/Project Management/Management or equivalent education and experience, is preferred.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in merchandising/merchandising planning/supply chain
  • Good understanding of Supply Chain Metrics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite. Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, hlookups)
  • Good relational skills, to be able to work in an international environment and to be able to build and keep strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Team player, experience in working in a highly cross-functional organization.
  • Sense of urgency, able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Initiative and curiosity, willing to grow and be challenged in a very exciting, young and fast environment.
