· Lead, manage, and mentor a team of workshop workers to achieve production goals and maintain quality standards.
· Plan and schedule tasks, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and adherence to production schedules.
· Coordinate with other departments, such as production planning and quality control, to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders.
· Monitor the production process, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to prevent delays and defects.
· Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
· Train and onboard new recruits, ensuring they are familiar with workshop procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
· Collaborate with procurement to manage inventory levels of raw materials, tools, and supplies required for production.
· Maintain accurate records of production activities, including quantities produced, downtime, and quality data.
· Implement and enforce company policies and procedures within the workshop.
· Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
· Report on production metrics, challenges, and opportunities to higher management.
Requirements:
· GCE “O” / “N” level
· At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
· Proven experience in managing production schedules, optimizing resource allocation, and achieving production targets.
· Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
· Problem-solving mindset with the ability to address production-related challenges effectively.
· Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations in a production environment.
· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
