Job Description
- Develop and maintain constructive and effective relationships with customer representatives, to ensure contractual obligations are met end exceeded.
- Host toolbox meeting, work with warehousing, shipment plans, manpower allocation and warehouse/Yard space planning
- Manage inbound/outbound cargo, consumables materials and supplies level
- Support in maintaining WMS system, accuracy of inventory records and shipment status reports
- Knowledge of B/L, D/O, Manifest, Portnet, JP Online etc.
- Project budgeting, operation, and manpower cost management
- Conduct cargo and cycle-count audits, monitor various operational KPI’s, with follow up actions and reporting.
- Outline container stuffing and unstuffing plans, update and publish operations process flow, safety and method statement.
- Ensure facility cleanliness, tidiness, and upkeeping of facilities infrastructure
- Cargo quality, operation safety and efficient management, whilst always seeking opportunities to improve.
- Creative in solving supply chain and operation issues, meeting deadlines and timely response to queries.
Job Requirement
- Good understanding of logistics supply chain management ideologies and practices.
- Flexible approach to ad-hoc task and able to work under pressure, manage resources and meet deadlines.
- Strong sense of responsbility and accountability
- Competence in MS Office suite, and meticulous in work
- Able to work outdoor and in a industrial settings, including working outside office hours when required
- Class 3 driving license and forklift license is an advantage
- An ITE NITEC or Higher NITEC Certifcate or Iogistics related diploma, with min. 2 years prior experience in logistics services, warehousing or manufacuring
