A Global Japanese Automotive Manufacturer with an office in Singapore is embarking on an evolving path and expanding role. The Singapore office assists the Japan Head Office in managing the Group’s interests and exposures in the ASEAN region, India and Middle East.

And as part of the Group’s initiative towards greater adoption of technology and boosting work efficiency, the Singapore Office offers a chance to take part in exciting tech projects that can have impact across the Group.


The Global Trading Operations Department is looking for a matured and capable team player to join their growing team. As an integral member of the Singapore Office, the expectations and challenges are high but will be very rewarding and exciting for high performers.


We are looking for a Trading & Logistics Officer (1-Year Contract) who is/has:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  • Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Good time management skills
  • Able to handle desk-bound and routine work
  • Familiarity with INCO terms will be a plus
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems will be a plus

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Shipping Documentation, Payment and Billing Operations:
    • Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and other relevant paperwork on a daily basis.
    • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all shipping documents to comply with industry regulations and company standards.
    • Ensure accuracy in payment and billing operations.
    • Maintain an organized and efficient document control system for easy retrieval and reference.
  • Logistics Coordination and Communication:
    • Coordinate delivery schedules and shipping arrangements with suppliers, customers and service providers to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
    • Monitor all shipments and track their progress to ensure on-time deliveries to customers.
    • Communicate with suppliers, customers, and service providers for any discrepancies and claims.
    • Handle any unexpected delays or issues in shipping and work proactively to find solutions.
  • Other duties as requested by Management.
