To augment our manpower resources in the School, we are seeking for an experienced professional to join the Academic Team as Senior Assistant Manager. The incumbent shall support the end-to-end administration of the Graduate and CET programmes and ensure quality services for students and faculty in the school.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the delivery of student and academic services for the Graduate and CET programmes.
- Oversees the planning and monitors student admission progress to ensure timeliness of the admission process.
- Coordinate interviews and liaise with various stakeholders for the processing and monitoring of applications, admissions, and scholarships outcomes.
- Manage the administration of the Graduate programme including timetabling, course registration, examination matters, curriculum administration, new course proposal submission, budgeting and advisory on student academic matters.
- Support the Programme Directors in the submission of Academic proposals for graduate and CET programmes (e.g new courses/programme, change in assessment components, and curriculum changes).
- Involve in the implementation of approved curriculum and policies.
- Manage the Graduate programme’s operations including budget preparation and submission, programme funding, addressing queries from students and faculty, booking of teaching facilities, tuition fee billing and instructors’ payment, administration of student feedback on teaching, engagement of instructors, student awards shortlisting and administration, academic misconduct, maintaining of student records, and assist with audit queries.
- Manage academic-related events for graduate students, as well as programme outreach, publicity, orientation and ad hoc student events.
- Consolidation and preparation of data and statistics and drafting of reports or proposals.
Requirements:
- A good Bachelor degree in any discipline, preferably with at least 6-8 years’ of administrative/programme management.
- Good to have knowledge on academic matters, academic policies, project management, business / data analytics, cross-cultural communication and management.
- Prior experience working in institutions of higher learning preferable.
- Strong administrative skills, meticulous with analytic and problem-solving skills and a keen eye for details.
- Good interpersonal and people management skills.
- A strong collaborator – ability to work well in within the team and with key stakeholders.
- Positive attitude with customer-service orientation.
- Excellent organisational, time management and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in an efficient, effective, and timely manner.
