JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform assigned manufacturing tasks to produce high quality products under limited supervision and instruction.
• Perform troubleshooting on components, sub-assembly, and full assembly systems by using mechanical and electrical knowledge when issues arise.
• Perform assembly and testing activities in accordance to the established work standards, test procedures and work schedule.
• Work with supervisor and assist engineers to execute controlled experiments for feasibility study.
• Execute moderately complex assignment by assisting Engineers to do troubleshooting and assisting Supervisor for report data collection and provide independent judgment.
• Support 5S and Lean activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tool.
• Support process improvement activities to meet production goals.
• Perform other tasks as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Nitec, Technical Diploma or Vocational Certified in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering with relevant experience.
EXPERIENCE
• Experience in Manufacturing Instrument in Life Science or Medical Devices Industry.
• Experience in ISO 13485 audit and cGMP environment.
• Able to work with miniature components /parts under microscope.
• Experience in soldering electrical components.
• Experience in laser welding (an added advantage).
SKILLS
• Knowledge in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Meticulous and attention to details with good troubleshooting ability.
