Our client a large financial institution is looking for a highly skilled Network (and Network security) Engineer to join their team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network solutions to support their regional businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network and network security solutions that meet the organization's network and security requirements.
- Deliver technical solutions and take responsibility for the standards of work.
- Oversee the design or build of customised architecture or applications, integrating it with new or existing hardware, packaged and custom software, and communications infrastructure.
- Interpret client requirements and decompose them into hardware/system requirements and specifications.
- Contribute expertise towards a proposed technical solution and will work with internal colleagues to define the roadmap and milestones.
- Provide level 3 support, assisting with troubleshooting and design, configuration, and escalated problem management.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of industry trends and best practices in network technology and security.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in network security or related field.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and security technologies, including SDWAN, ZTNA, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and DLP.
- Strong Networking Security understanding
- Good level of understanding in complex troubleshooting and resolving issues with clients
- Firewalls
- IPS and ISE
- VPN and ESA
- WSA, Umbrella and Secure Endpoint
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven solution architecture and design experience
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions.
