JD for BP Finance
Responsibilities:
· Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and requirements to identify opportunities for improvement.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project strategies and objectives.
· Improve the reporting process and packs.
· Partner with the Cost COE to drive actionable analytics across all keys areas.
· Support the Head of Operations with all elements of financial planning and analysis.
· Provide analysis and commentary against weekly and monthly performance to Head of Operations
· Support the Head of Operations in challenging and improving performance.
· Validate and improve the quality and accuracy of the management data being produced.
· Assist in the production of the annual budgets and forecasts.
· Consult with and provide insight to the Financial Reporting and Control team to assist in the production of the monthly management accounts.
· Prepare and track business and investment cases, ensuring robust challenge to key business assumptions and key investment criteria (Paybacks, NV)
· Monitor effectiveness of Finance policies, practices, and processes to determine efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration (or) Accounting (or) Information Technology, ACCA/CPA (or) related field.
· Bilingual in both Mandarin and English to liaise with Chinese clients
· Proven experience around 4-6 years as a Business Analyst in a similar role is strongly preferred.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
· Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
· Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
