- Conduct safety briefings for new employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors.
- Conduct regular safety talks for each shift team.
- Support the development and implementation of EHS policies.
- Promote safety initiatives and cultivate a safety culture in Singapore Operations.
- Perform risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and enforce safe management measures.
- Conduct ongoing inspections to identify non-conformities, such as failure to use protective equipment.
- Coordinate audit-related matters and maintain safety documentation.
- Facilitate monthly EHS Committee meetings.
- Ensure compliance with and stay updated on new WSH regulations.
- Collect data to support EHS or Sustainability reports/projects.
- Enhance current EHS or Sustainability guidelines for SG Operations.
- Coordinate the Permit to Work System for plant operations and ensure contractor compliance.
- Oversee workplace repairs, installations, and activities posing safety risks.
- Verify the adequacy and safety of all tools and equipment.
- Register and investigate WSH incidents, providing statistical information.
- Conduct safety briefings and trainings as scheduled or required.
- Conduct emergency management drills and exercises.
- Arrange OSHA mandated testing and evaluations of the workplace by external agencies/consultants.
- Perform other assigned duties.
