Your key roles & responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage the businesses of Singapore Corporate Banking Department
- Supporting and coordinating overseas offices of the Asia & Pacific region in the business area of Japanese and Non-Japanese Corporate Banking
- Communicating with offices in this region, other overseas regions and Japan for the promotion of the Japanese and Non-Japanese Corporate Banking business
- Promoting the business to achieve the targets of the department.
- Maximizing the profitability and efficiency of the department
- Preparing and presenting management level reports in Asia & Pacific and Japan (Head office) in both English and Japanese language.
What you should have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree.
- At least twenty years of experience with financial institutions.
- At least fifteen years of experience in corporate finance at least in 3 countries in Asia Pacific region.
- At least fifteen years of leadership experience
- Strong interpersonal and business writing skills are attributes that will help the candidate perform successfully in this role
- Business-level proficiency in both the English and Japanese languages as you are required to communicate, read and understand as well as respond and present in these two languages to management in Asia & Pacific and Japan (Head office).
- Experience working in Japanese banking business environment is advantageous.
- Strong understanding and affiliation to Japanese financial industry with relevant network
