Join Our Team as a Senior Process Engineer
Are you a driven and motivated Senior Process Engineer looking for a new challenge? We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our team and play a pivotal role in process design, safety, support, evaluation, and compliance. As a Senior Process Engineer with us, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage in process improvement initiatives, and ensure the efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Design and Engineering:
- Lead and develop specifications for various equipment for new projects or modifications.
- Drive the development and updating of P&IDs and piping line lists for new projects or modifications.
Process Safety:
- Take a leadership role or actively participate in Process Hazards Analysis (HAZOP, What-ifs, Bowtie, and LOPA).
- Draft and evaluate training materials covering topics on process safety, energy, and industrial incidents.
- Lead process design activities, including basic sizing calculations for process safety and operational equipment.
- Conduct periodic process safety activities, such as testing of alarms and interlocks.
- Provide expert advice to the operations team on process optimization and troubleshooting.
- Lead and implement process improvement projects.
- Be a contributing member of the company’s Major Hazard Installation (MHI) team.
Process Support:
- Ensure technical support is readily available to cross functional departments during process plant trials.
- Offer guidance to the operations team in troubleshooting production and quality issues.
- Lead impact assessments of changes arising from the Management of Change process.
- Contribute to incident investigations as needed.
Process Evaluation:
- Assist the Head of Technical in technical evaluations when assessing new process needs from existing or new customers.
- Support Head of Technical in project costing activities.
- Lead the development of test procedures and analytical requirements for trial testing in the laboratory.
Regulatory & Audit Compliance :
- Lead in the annual license renewal of the relevant regulatory agencies.
- Assist Head of Technical in the routine and recertification audits and subsequent closure of findings.
- Lead in the completion of process safety / predictive aspect related Intervention plans as part of the requirement for working in a Major Hazard Installation (MHI).
Management:
- Manage and ensure execution of company and departmental goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance and training to junior Process Engineers.
What We're Looking For:

- A recognized chemical engineering degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience in the petrochemical or related industry.
