Responsibilities:
- Assist the Manager to direct production QC in accordance with the company policies, objectives, plans and budgets for business.
- Assist the Manager to supervise Engineers & Production QC in accordance with the company policies, objectives, plans and budgets for business.
- Develop, organize and provide resources for the implementing of quality control and assurance activities for inspection, testing and measuring of product.
- Instruct, advice, counsel, review, analyse and appraise the performance of QAC staff. Ensure that QAC staff are adequately trained & competence in executing their daily responsibilities.
- Ensure documentation of the company’s quality management system is in place, including policies, objectives, plans, organization, procedures and applicable international standards.
- Ensure that requirements of ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001 and related legal & regulatory requirements are complied with, and periodically review significant quality, environmental, safety & health related issues, including their aspects and impacts.
- Review related objectives / targets, and programmes for QAC Department, including aspects and impacts on company’s service and activities.
- Initiate and participate in establishment of solution for customer complaints with Production and other personnel.
- Review effectiveness of corrective actions & implement measures to prevent recurrence of non-conformities.
- Ensure that controlled document are complete, up-to-date and do not contain unauthorized alterations at QC & Production shop floor.
Requirement:
- Degree / Diploma in Engineering discipline with at least 3 years of quality control management experience
- Knowledge in solving methodologies like FMEA, SPC and 8D reporting
- Able to work independent with positive attitude
- A team leader
- Applicants must be willing to work in Tuas area
