We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team as a Junior Accounts Assistant. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and support tasks to the Finance department, playing a key role in maintaining accurate and timely financial records.


What You Will Do At Quant Matter?

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including entering invoices, preparing payments, and reconciling bank statements.
  • Assist with general ledger maintenance, recording and categorizing financial transactions.
  • Prepare and submit basic financial reports, such as accounts payable and receivable aging reports, and reporting to management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems for financial documents.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures and other accounting tasks as assigned.
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with annual financial audits.
  • Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Our Ideal Candidates Would Have

  • Accounting or Finance Diploma or equivalent required, associate degree preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
