Job Description
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to attract and retain investors for real estate development projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential investors, including high net worth individuals, family offices, institutional investors and investment funds.
- Prepare and present compelling investment materials, including pitch decks, offering memorandums, financial models and investment reports.
- Coordinate investor meetings, presentations and due diligence processes, ensuring timely and accurate communication with investors.
- Collaborate with the development team to provide investor insights and feedback, helping to shape project strategies and offerings.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks impacting fundraising efforts.
- Manage investor communications, including newsletters, updates, and investor meetings, to foster transparency and trust.
- Participate in industry events, conferences and networking opportunities to expand the company's investor network and enhance visibility in the real estate investment community.
- Continuously evaluate and optimise investor relations processes and strategies to maximise fundraising effectiveness and investor satisfaction.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, real estate, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in fundraising or related roles within the real estate industry.
- Proven track record of successfully raising capital for real estate development projects, with a strong network of potential investors.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment concepts and financial data in a clear and compelling manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of securities regulations and compliance requirements related to private placements and real estate investments.
- Passion for real estate and investment management, with a commitment to delivering exceptional value to investors and stakeholders.
