Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) Singapore is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of project financials to effectively manage budgets, maximize profitability, and ensure accurate forecasting. The selected candidate will be responsible for meticulously overseeing project schedules, delivering milestones, and maintaining strong customer relationships through responsive and professional service.

What You Will Do
Financial Responsibilities:
• Fully understand project budget requirements; effectively communicate these to the project team during PM to Discipline turnovers.
• Consistently meet project budget requirements and maintain knowledge of the financial status of assigned projects.
• Maximize project profitability by identifying cost reduction opportunities and initiating change orders for expanded scope.
• Provide accurate gross margin forecasts on time each month, with a variance of no more than +/- 2% from the actual final gross margin.
• Ensure invoices are issued accurately and timely, swiftly resolving any accounts receivable (A/R) issues.
• Provide monthly project forecasting and reports.
Schedule Responsibilities:
• Submit a completed project schedule milestone template to the Scheduler within two weeks of project turnover from AE for entry into ERP.
• Consistently meet project schedule requirements and stay informed about the schedule status of assigned projects.
• Deliver accurate weekly updates of project milestones at least 80% of the time.
• Manage projects to achieve at least 85% on-time shipment performance; seek ways to improve the schedule when slippage occurs.
• Complete and issue customer documentation on schedule, including data sheets, drawings, and O&M manuals, and submit final documentation within two weeks after shipment for small projects and four weeks for larger projects.
Relationship Management:
• Manage a large project team effectively by setting clear objectives, defining scope and deliverables, and communicating progress. Use AE to PM and PM to Discipline Turnover checklists for every project.
• Maintain excellent customer relations by being responsive, professional, and committed to good customer service.
• Obtain customer agreement on equipment plot plan and orientation at the initial stages of project design.
• Provide timely and cooperative customer support post-equipment delivery and lead the project team for successful after-sale efforts, including installation, commissioning, start-up, and warranty.
Other Responsibilities:
• Execute projects in accordance with the Order Execution Manual and other related ISO-9001 procedures, including initiating effective design reviews and maintaining proper record-keeping.
• Initiate and update warranty authorizations prior to the expenditure of funds.
• Develop and maintain expertise in project-specific technical and product knowledge to improve project results, including a high-level understanding of the industry and competition.
• Seek opportunities for continuous improvement in the JZ/KG order execution process and participate in their implementation.
• Attend at least 16 hours of project management or technical subject-related training annually.
• Mentor less experienced project managers.
• Attend all weekly PM meetings when in the office.
• Involve management when assistance is needed in any area of project management.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and maintain high ethical standards in all actions.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
• 5 years working experience as a Project Manager
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Experience in working a matrix organization across different geographies
• Ability to work through complex issues
• Resourceful self starter with ability to work independently
• Strong sense of accountability
What Will Put You Ahead
• PMP will be a plus
• Experience with pressure vessel/heat exchange or fabrication work.
