Job Description:
- Ensuring accuracy of the Store’s daily monies collection (include foreign currency note), bank deposits and accuracy of the cash & cashless transaction records.
- Responsible to provide training and coaching to the cashier on the POS Machine.
- Work closely with the finance team on the month-end closing.
- Rotating to schedule on cashier supervisor's duty roster
- Support the cashier if they are unable to resolve cashiering issues by dealing with the issues positively
- Ensure all cashiers have sufficient currencies of various denominations for sales transactions.
- Handling petty cash
- Lead by example and excel in customer service & cashiering skill knowledge.
- Excellent customer service and communications skills to meet the organisation business objectives and exceed customer’s expectations.
- Cashier supervisors may also be required to attend meetings and conferences.
- Any other ad-hoc assignment or project assigned by the Retail Manager.
Job Requirements:
- At least GCE O Level / Diploma in Retail Management or related discipline
- At least 3 years travel retail or retail cashier supervisory experience
- Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work rotating shifts duties in Changi Airport environment
- Must be 21 years of age or above due to Custom’s controlled categories under Liquor and Tobacco licensing requirements
