Job Description
The Senior Accountant is required to have track record knowledge and experience in both strategic and tactical financial management.
Responsibilities:
- Actively manage cash flow and prepare cash flow projections
- Leads the Accounts Department ensuring accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Assess current practices and procedures, and make recomdations for improvements to develop the department including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, forecasting
- Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing guidance, and maintaining strong relationships
- Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end
- Develop procurement, purchasing process and documentation
- Prepare and submit tax, GST, ensuring prompt payment and answer to related queries
- Liaise with bank for trade related activities, including factoring, leasing, etc.
- Liaise with Auditors, tax agent and related authorities to ensure legal compliance
- Perform internet banking activities, assist on CPF submission and Income Tax matters
- Conduct forecasting and risk analysis assessments
- Any other ad-hoc assignments directed by the Management
- A strategic Manager with track record of knowledge and experience in facilitating and administering invoice factoring.
Requirements:
- Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree
- At least 5 Years of Experience
