Overview:
The Wintel Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting the Windows server infrastructure for the organization.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and manage Windows server operating systems and related software applications.
Monitor server performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and outages in a timely manner.
Perform routine system maintenance tasks, such as patching, updating, and upgrading servers.
Ensure security compliance and implement security best practices on Windows servers.
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and training.
Participate in on-call support rotation and respond to system emergencies as needed.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working with Windows server environments.
Proficiency in Windows server operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certifications such as MCSE, MCSA are a plus.
Deliverables:
Completed installations and configurations of Windows servers and related software.
Documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Timely resolution of system issues and outages to ensure system availability and reliability.
