Job Scope
- Lead and manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure, server environments, and cybersecurity measures.
- Actively participate in hands-on technical tasks such as servers administration, compliance audits including Vulnerability Assessment exercises and cybersecurity assessments.
- Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures for efficient and secure server operations, disaster-recovery, technical refreshment processes including seamless migration works and risk assessments with roll-back plans.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to a team of IT professionals responsible for servers (excluding network and network security), and cybersecurity functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network and server changes, upgrades, and enhancements, as well as manage IT projects related to network, server, and cybersecurity initiatives.
- Oversee the configuration, installation, and maintenance of servers, virtualizaed platforms, operating systems, applications, and security tools.
- Stay updated with emerging networking, server, and cybersecurity technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for IT improvements.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements for Data Center resources, server equipment hardware renewal and cybersecurity-related products and services.
- Provide leadership in incident response and resolution for servers, and cybersecurity incidents whilst provide technical RCA reports to both sales and technical team for dissemination.
- Develop and maintain documentation of servers and cybersecurity configurations, schematic diagrams, procedures, and project plans for reference and troubleshooting purposes.
Requirements:
- Good experience in disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP), including Business Continuity Management (BCM).
- Good experience as a Team Lead/ Manager with relevant human resource skillsets in managing all team players within the designated operation department.
- Strong IT architecture design, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with servers hardware, operating systems (e.g., Windows and Linux), virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and common business applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, collaboration tools), including Cloud services e.g. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Project management skills and experience in managing IT projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
