Responsibilities:
- Leads, manages and develops the team of AGS APAC Flytcare Program managers
- Controls and manages budget versus actual costs/revenue for assigned Service programs. Including monitoring and approving outgoing funds, creating budget authorizations as well as identifying and maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Supports the bid process by providing and reviewing the financial modeling for potential Services programs or for the service aspect of combined Hardware/Services bids.
- Upon bid award and handover, conduct the internal and customer program kick-off and related activities including budget authorization and service validation review.
- Review/approve all offer letters or proposals on Services programs or the Services aspect of combined Hardware/Services bids for assigned programs.
- Provides updates to the Strategic Business Plan (SBP) with revenue and cost projections from one to five years into the future.
- Attends all combined Hardware/Services kick-off and bid meetings, providing input on commercial terms, strategies and baselines for Services offerings. Ensures that all costs required to support the bids are captured and accurately accounted for.
- Liaises with Account Manager and Regional Sales staff to provide dynamic updates to active bid proposals and identifies new Service offering opportunities / PCO’s for their customers.
- Creates invoicing package each month for assigned Services programs by applying the appropriate contractual commercial conditions to the services rendered.
- Reports regularly to Management the program EACs and how they track budget versus actuals.
- Directly oversee program activities, including leading cross-functional service delivery teams (composition dependent on scope of services provided in each contract) to assure the accomplishment of program objectives, Service Level Agreements, and other commitments in a profitable way that meets or exceeds customer and Thales expectations.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of project or technical management experience in the aviation industry
- Ability to establish effective communications with multicultural customers located in different time zones.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from various stakeholders.
- Strong numerical skills and ability to interpret P&L and other financial statements
- Able to operate MS Office applications, i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio.
- Familiarity with SAP, Primavera, Microsoft Project tools.
- Travel frequency may be up to 20% of yearly schedule
