Responsibilities
- Develop new customer relationships and enhance gross profit.
- Utilize telemarketing and personal visits to both potential and existing clients to boost sales and foster customer loyalty.
- Coordinate local sales campaigns for international partners/agents.
- Lead commercial strategy development and implementation.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities and identify growth potential in current accounts.
- Participate in bids, RFQs, and other commercial activities, including quotation preparation and follow-up.
- Engage in networking events to expand industry connections and drive business expansion.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new and existing ventures.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback to ensure satisfaction and retention, balancing compliance with local regulations and dispute resolution.
- Manage cash effectively and collaborate with Credit Control for efficient credit management.
- Conduct market research to understand current market trends and identify opportunities for business growth.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar capacity.
- Proficient understanding of Singapore ports and maritime regulations.
- Strong commercial instincts and a drive for business development.
- Excellent communication and people management abilities.
