Job Description
- Acquire new customers through proactive outdoor sales initiatives
- Meet and exceed in sales targets in terms of profit margin and sales revenue
- Optimise GP and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand
- Engage in contract negotiation, pricing and terms & conditions with customers
- Evaluate performance via daily reports and monthly review meetings
- Able to pinpoint areas for improvement and add value to enhance customer satisfaction
Job Requirement
- At least 5 years of experience in the freight forwarding, logistics and transportation industry.
- Proven track record in sales development.
- Strong market knowledge in Freight Forwarding, supply chain solutions, preferably with specialisations in certain industry verticals
- A sound understanding of leveraging a sales process to uncover customer needs.
