RySense is a Singapore-based research organisation. We focus on conducting research to understand what people in Singapore think, feel and do. Our primary areas of interest include social trends and public opinion. Using robust approaches, we seek to generate reliable insights about the Singapore landscape which reflect both subtle nuances and macro perspectives.
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for someone with 6-8 years of leadership experience in market/consumer/social research. You should have strong quantitative skills and excellent interpersonal skills as well as the confidence to deal with a variety of different stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You must have proven experience with the following tasks, which will form the key responsibilities for the role:
- Demonstrate thought leadership across all levels
- To confidently lead a small team of researchers
- Develop junior members on critical thinking and computational thinking skills
- Able to solve problems creatively, and pivot responsively to operational changes
- Conducting presentations of research results and analyses
- Strong in articulating concepts and ideas in clear and precise manner
- Deployment of adjacent teams for operational work
- Scripting, processing and delivery of accurate survey datasets to clients
- Maintaining excellent relationships with all stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS
- Any Bachelor’s degree. (Majors in mathematics, engineering, business, science, computing, or any numerical fields preferred)
- At least 6 years of working experience, with leadership roles
- Excellent presentation, communication and public speaking skills
- Analytical with attention to details
- Team player
- Highly comfortable dealing with large datasets using software (eg. SPSS, R, Python, Power BI etc.)
- Competency with Microsoft Office, and intermediate to advanced skills in Powerpoint and Excel
- Familiarity with scripting and data collection platforms (e.g. WinCATI, Sensus, Forsta) an added advantage
- Fluent in English and one or more of the following languages - Chinese, Malay or Tamil
