Roles & Responsibilities
1. The Senior Audit Associate operates in work contexts that are less standardised and unanticipated changes can be frequent due to changes in the external environment.
2. He/She is able to identify unethical behaviour and react based on the applicable ethical principles.
3. He/She is expected to team lead various sizes of audit engagements which include planning, performing, reviewing of audit work performed by a less experienced personnel and concluding the engagement.
4. He/She works closely with team members to execute the audit plan and ensures the timely completion of the audit engagement.
5. He/She also works closely with clients and manages their expectations to further nurture on-going client relationships.
Requirements
1. The ideal candidate will have 1~2 years of experience and be bi-lingual in English and Mandarin.
2. Act in accordance with applicable professional standards.
3. Analyse the impact of changing business environment on client’s business.
4. Apply project management techniques to manage project timelines.
5. Coach junior team members to achieve technical competency and efficient performance.
6. Facilitate effective communication within the cross functional and culturally diverse team.
7. Identify areas for personal development to improve work performance.
8. Identify client’s business and key risks.
9. Identify ethical conflicts.
10. Implement and provide input to audit plan.
11. Obtain audit evidence to corroborate information.
12. Perform quality audit in compliance with professional standards.
