We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Designer to join our Digital Media Products Team. As a Product Designer, you will have a key role in creating visually stunning and user-centred digital experiences of our digital media products and the future of News media locally and as well as regionally.
Responsibilities:
- Defining and building critical workflows, wireframes, and prototypes in a fast-paced agile environment and successfully communicating them to the team
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders, to translate business goals and user needs into innovative design solutions.
- Conduct user testing and gather insights to inform design decisions, ensuring a deep understanding of user behaviours and preferences.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
- Apply a keen eye for visual design, ensuring consistency, coherence, and aesthetics across all digital media products.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of UX or Product Design experience in a product company or digital agency
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design projects and demonstrating your visual design skills.
- Expertise in using design and prototyping tools including Figma and LottieFiles
- Expertise in user-centred design principles and methodologies.
- Experience designing for web and app, along with a good knowledge of HCI principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
