My client a innovation- based medical technology company is looking out for a Project manager to lead with passion a early stage medical device. The incumbent should have and assume these responsibilities as shown below:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the overall management of the company including the day-to-day operations of the portfolio
  • Provide leadership in the design and development of the concept. Evaluate and refine design specifications including the evaluation and implementation of relevant clinical test methods to attest the product specifications
  • Lead and oversee the engineering team, marketing, fundraising, quality assurance, clinical trial & regulatory activities to achieve project objectives/ milestones
  • Lead development of product commercialization and regulatory strategies, including working with the team to select & manage subcontractors and vendors
  • Lead the business development and fund-raising for the portfolio

Requirements:

  • Master or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Passion in owning and driving programs with development stage in years
  • At least 8 years’ working experience. Preferable experience in project management, start-up, fundraising, medical device, electronic & electrical or software/medical imaging
  • Good understanding of medical devices regulatory, quality systems and clinical pathway
  • Experience in regulatory submissions (FDA) and ISO13485 an added advantage
  • Strong leadership skill. Able to lead the team in continuous improvement
  • Proficient in budgeting, forecasting and corporate finance
  • Strong analytical skills, with problem-solving abilities in ambiguous situations
  • Experience working with regional team will be an added advantage
  • Good technical knowledge and business acumen
