My client is a established leading provider in designs, builds and markets its semiconductor manufacturing equipment used in the production of integrated circuits which are widely used in industries such as consumer electronics, IT and communications, automotive, aerospace, healthcare and others. Its core capabilities are in providing high-end vision inspection and ultra-precision handling solutions for die-sorting, vision inspection and laser marking requirements under its proprietary brand.
- Position : Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:
- Lead Design Team: Take charge of a team of design engineers, guiding them through the entire conceptualization, design, and development process of semiconductor equipment, spanning from module to machine levels.
- Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP): Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives aimed at prolonging product life cycles, boosting product competitiveness, enhancing gross margins, and reducing Cost of Ownership (COO).
- Reliability and Feasibility Testing: Conduct comprehensive reliability and feasibility tests to ensure the quality, performance, and durability of semiconductor equipment. Analyze test results and refine designs as necessary to meet or surpass industry standards.
- Technical Sales Support: Collaborate closely with the Technical Sales team to evaluate specifications, assess costs, and review products. Offer technical expertise and insights to facilitate informed decision-making during the sales process.
- Technical Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving all technical field issues within the product family. Utilize troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge to promptly diagnose and resolve issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and product reliability.
- On-Site Product Performance: Assume responsibility for monitoring and optimizing product performance on-site. Engage with customers to understand their requirements and challenges, proactively addressing any issues to ensure smooth operation and customer success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in semiconductor equipment design and development.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Strong grasp of Continuous Improvement methodologies and their application in product development.
- Proficiency in reliability testing methodologies and analysis techniques.
- Proven track record of driving product performance improvements and resolving technical issues in a dynamic environment.
