• Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
• Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
• Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
• Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
• Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
• Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
• Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
• Traveling from the office to various sites as required.
DRAFTER
• Provide AutoCad drafting support for projects and sales team.
• Update and maintain project drawings.
• Plan, manage and execute design work, typically from concept through to completion and manage design changes at any stages.
• Sharp in figures as need to find costing and formulas.
• Coordinates and cooperates with other disciplines on new process requirements, design interference check and design changes.
• Follows established procedures and guidelines to design and install products and services that is required.
• Carries out basic and detailed engineering design including calculations/ analysis according to project requirements.
• Drafts engineering documents for submission
• Provides technical assistance to the team.
• Attends site check/ verification.
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.
• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering
• Well-versed in all local and international codes and standards in the related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel, 2D & 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD &/or MicroStation, Staad Pro (Engineer) etc.
• Able to work independently.
• Ensure compliance with the relevant design codes and specifications.
• Liaises and coordinates with operation teams, consultants, and customers.
